“Audience development is not about developing audiences, but much more about developing cultural organizations” This idea was spread by Alessandra Gariboldi, project manager in Adeste Plus, #Conecta19 last week in Zaragoza, Spain.
Gariboldi showed the impact of European Projects in the field of audience development changing cultural organizations putting people in the centre.
On the other side, Sonia Sin, head of communication in Zaragoza Cultural, talked about how the European Projects have changed her organization. Zaragoza has a Audience Development Plan for the whole city. The City Council has created a community interconnected of communities around the culture to improve the conexion between citizens and culture.
The second smARTplaces conference has took place at Etopia Center for Art and Technology in Zaragoza, Spain. For two days experts about audience have been talking about audience development through digital technology, and new forms of cultural mediation.
In a dynamic format they explored how European museums and cultural institutions connect and interact with their audiences, become more inclusive and involve people in the reshaping of cultural centers and their role in social change. Meanwhile, in a parallel program of activities, the gave you the opportunity to discover Zaragoza’s most innovative cultural centers and artistic program.
